With reference to your letters of the 18th ultimo (No. 5900/1903), and 24th instant, I am directed by the Postmaster General to state that he concurs in the proposed addition, giving effect to a recommendation of the Admiralty to the draft despatch to the Governor of Hong Kong on the subject of Wireless Telegraphy.
The Interdepartmental Committee, to which the subject of Wireless Telegraphy was referred, has now made its Report, and if the conditions mentioned by that Committee as necessary to be insisted upon in granting a license, are approved by His Majesty's Government, the Secretary of State will no doubt desire to communicate them to Hong Kong and Singapore.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
